What’s the Best Way to Apply Facial Tanner?

Sometimes you just don’t have a need for a full body tan, especially in the winter time when you’re just trying to keep a little extra color on your face. This is where a facial spray tanner comes in handy, but how do you apply it properly? It can be a little intimidating, but there’s no reason for it to be. My personal preference for applying facial spray tanner are these two methods- 

• Spray lightly on your face and blend in with a clean makeup brush like a blush brush 

• Or spray lightly onto your face and use your clean fingers to blend like you would if you were applying makeup 

The most important thing to remember is always to do your jawline down onto your neck so that you are well blended.  A lot of these facial tanners do not have bronzer in them, so you won’t have a color guide to help you. Luckily, they all have buildable color, so if you find it’s too light after it’s developed, you can always build it up with another application. These products are amazing for keeping color going all year long, especially since we all know that our face tan fades the quickest.
